Getting started
Who is Rocketlinks for?
Anyone already selling informally who wants to do it systematically: home businesses, artisans, resellers and small creators taking orders over WhatsApp, Instagram or within their community, without a website or payment gateway of their own.
What do I need to register?
Rocketlinks is currently enabled only for GST-registered sellers. A non-GST path is coming soon. If you already have a Shiprocket account, log in and confirm your details. Otherwise, you’ll need: full name, mobile number, email ID, GST number, bank account details, and a brand logo (or generate one with AI if you don’t have one).
Money
How much does it cost, and how do I get paid?
A flat 5% commission on order value, exclusive of GST. GST is charged on top of the commission. No monthly fee, no setup cost. TCS and TDS are deducted at source as required by law, and there may be incremental shipping charges on actuals, deducted from your Shiprocket wallet. Payouts are weekly, released 2 days after delivery and processed every Tuesday, straight to the bank account you registered with.
What happens with Cash on Delivery orders?
There’s no real-time deduction on COD orders. Instead, the commission on all your COD orders is totalled up and deducted once every 15 days against your upcoming payouts.
What happens with prepaid orders?
The buyer’s payment is collected into the Rocketlinks account through our payment gateway. We deduct the commission, and the balance is remitted to your bank account after a two-day cooling-off period.
Your link and your orders
Will my link ever expire?
No. It’s permanent from the moment you create it. It pauses automatically if you sell out, but reactivates the instant you restock. You never need to generate a new one, and anything you’ve already shared keeps working.
Do I need my own website or payment gateway?
No. Rocketlinks builds the landing page and checkout for you. That’s the entire point. If you already run a separate store elsewhere, Rocketlinks works alongside it; most sellers use it specifically for the orders their main site doesn’t reach, like WhatsApp and Instagram.
Can I self-ship orders, or sell digital goods?
Yes to both. For self-shipped or digital orders, delivery isn’t tracked automatically, so you’ll need to manually confirm the order was delivered. That confirmation is what triggers your payout for it.
Does Rocketlinks support hyperlocal delivery?
Yes. Every order flows into your Shiprocket dashboard, where you can choose national shipping, hyperlocal delivery, or self-shipping, whichever suits that order.
Your brand and support
Can I add more about my brand to my landing page?
Yes. There’s an optional “about the brand” section in your profile: add your story, details and logo, and it’s appended to every landing page you create.
